What happened to you? I feel like my voice didn’t matter at the time the city voters decided to defund the police, voters apparently voted without considering what to do to make better outcomes.
What would you like to see happen? I want all those in my city to take note of the outcome of making spontaneous defunding of vital services without a workable alternative.
How do you think others can help? I think we are all better off doing organizing and problem solving around what happened to the person(s) as opposed to temporary emotions and short-term solutions that have had a disproportionately negative effect on the innocent and guilty.
