What happened to you? I was pre-certified for rent help, and I chose an apartment in Cleveland, Ohio, and I was told it was ready to move in. I moved in and found that the apartment had several health hazards, when I reported the problems to the landlord and state agencies, the landlord’s response was to try and get me removed from my rent help by saying I was not compliant to receive the rent help.
What would you like to see happen? I want the landlord to be liable for the cost for me to find and move into another place.
How do you think others can help? Make the politicians do their job and be able to be of help to the people renting.
