What happened to you? I felt threatened by the instigating rhetoric of an upcoming guest speaker that's coming to my school campus. What would you like to see happen? I want to see more parent-student-based input. How do you think others can help? Others can help by being engaged and getting involved.

What happened? I was a regular church member and participant, including making contributions to the church. When my son went to jail for his crime and I asked them to reach out to him in prison, their response was neither productive nor satisfying to me. What would you like to see happen? I’d like to see my church become more involved in communication outreach and support services. How do you think others can help? I think we all should remember that our savior did not decide to forsake those that sin and only embrace those that were spiritually healthy.

What happened to you? I have direct knowledge, and I want all hearing-impaired people to know that Cochlear implants do not restore hearing. They do not cure deafness. They are not producing natural sounds that people with normal hearing have. What would you like to see happen? I want it needed on the front end that potential patients and guardians have better education and deeper understandings into the firsthand accounts of the full scope of patients who’ve already gotten the implants. How do you think others can help? Please consider open sources for the firsthand accounts of the patients who’ve already gotten the implants. Please consider that you most likely will only get the most benefit from these implants if the patient is under 5.
