What happened? Since 2018 a developer of property on E. Lafayette St. @ St. Aubin St. in Detroit, MI has allowed a pool of standing water to occur on the 2 aches+ of property each spring and summer. The standing water has been and is still a major breeding ground for mosquitoes as of July 2025.
What would you like to see happen? Complete elimination of the standing water that is changing my quality of life and walking route.
How do you think others can help? I think victims, stakeholders, public administrators and advocates should work together to stop or reduce this problem.
