What happened? I told my supervisor that my co-worker seemed off, nervous and distracted.
What would you like to see happen? I’d like to see supervisors and those in charge have a written plan for handling incoming firsthand alerts about co-workers. (2) Acknowledgment of the alert promptly. (3) Documenting the report with a record of the alert and any follow-up actions. (4) Follow up with the party(s) concerned.
How do you think others can help? I think we all can help by realizing the usefulness of best practices when handling firsthand answers from a 1st party point of view.
