AI Improves Content But Not Context

The Personal Version

Reducing the mobilizing that's done without individual communication agreements is the first task. Before mate3 networking spontaneous mobilizers had taken on the characteristic of openly chasing media attention by hook or crook. The once prominent tactic of getting public attention and organizing around general "causes" had created a stage for wishes, opinions, theories and multiple proposals for unvetted financial assistance. Once the stage had been set, institutions and corporations wasted no time or effort to control and limit the available options presented to the affected 1st parties. At that point groups and individuals spontaneously began claiming to represent people that were not part of their movements. Next the corporate media compounded and fed into the narrative that they as media covered the authentic voices for the people. At the same time the media conglomerates themselves were demanding first amendment rights and options for their companies. The media companies were simultaneously denying the voices of those with firsthand lived experiences for their own support. Later when defining the methodology for mate3 networking and before its introduction I developing specific considerations. The first consideration was protecting the advocacy assistance from malicious counterinsurgents. My aim was separating the subscription component, the sacrificial service component, the onboarding component and the open integrating of productive options component. My personal interest and knowledge of systems, computing and machine learning started twenty-two years before the introduction of mate3 networking in 2014.

The AI Version

When people are hurting and angry they move but moving without a plan hands power to the people already in power. Before mate3 networking, that is exactly what was happening. People organizing around shared pain were unknowingly building a stage that corporations and institutions rushed to control. Groups that had nothing to do with affected communities started claiming to speak for them. Media companies decided whose voice was real while fighting for their own rights to be heard. The people with the most direct experience were the least represented in conversations about their own lives. mate3 networking was created to stop that from happening. Built from twenty-two years of personal work in systems, computing, and machine learning, and introduced in 2014, it uses a specific four-part structure to keep advocacy in the hands of the people living the experience, not the people observing it.
