What happened to you? My noisy neighbor who I often avoid called the police to do a welfare check. Because the call for the welfare check was made, and I eventually answered the police’s repeated pounding on my door. I came to the door pissed off and the police stuck his foot in my door while asking who else is my house, I was arrested for trying to push the police back out my house.
What would you like to see happen? A policy that only allowed people registered on your list to have the power to call for a police officer executed welfare check.
How do you think others can help? Learn and be aware of your rights while lawfully being in your house. The right not to answer your door is one of them.
